この展覧会は、ソノ アイダのウェブサイト上のみで開催する展覧会です。実際の作品展示は空間スキャンされ、3Dバーシャルシステムを使用し鑑賞します。
2020年、新型コロナウィルス感染症（COVID-19）防止策として、世界中で社会封鎖と自主隔離を余儀なくされました。日本では緊急事態宣言発令後「かつての日常」の回帰を断念し「新しい日常」へと舵を切り、私たちはいつ終わとも分からない不安とともに、自粛を基本とした日々を過ごしています。
展覧会「ソノ アイダ#COVID-19」は、現在のコロナ期間の収束を迎えるまでの「その間」を会期とします。
各国行政の緊急事態宣言の解除と行政が経済活動再開し始めても、この展覧会は終わりません。我々の日常にコロナウィルス感染の恐れがなくなり、人々がかつてのように移動し、集まり、生産し、消費する意欲が湧き起こるその日はいつになるのでしょうか？ポストコロナとはどのように訪れ、どのように向き合うのか。私は新しい時代へと移行する「ソノ アイダ」を強調し注視したいと考えるのです。
In 2020, we have been obliged to socially blockade and voluntarily isolate the world as a measure to prevent new coronavirus infection (COVID-19).In Japan, after the declaration of an emergency, we abandoned the return of “Previous everyday” and turned to the “New everyday”, We spend our days based on self-restraint, with anxiety that will never end.
This exhibition "Sono Aida # COVID-19" will be held "in between" until the end of the current corona period.
This exhibition will not end even if the governments' declarations of emergency situations are lifted and the governments resume their economic activities. When will our everyday life be less threatened by coronaviruses and motivate people to move, get together, produce and consume like we once did? How does Post-Corona come to us and how do we face it? I would like to emphasize and pay attention to "Sono Ida" which is moving to a new era.
